Climate Change Response of Sensitive Habitats and Landscapes in Austria [CROSS]

Runtime: 2007 - 2012
Funding: ÖAW
external link:http://dx.doi.org/10.1553/GlobalChanges1

Summary

The project presents an approach that couples modelled high-resolution climate data with expert knowledge about the sensitivity of semi-natural and cultivated habitats in representative Austrian agricultural landscapes. By doing so, it is possible to assess the potential impact of changing temperature and precipitation patterns on regional biodiversity.
